The objective of this Course is to enable delegates to become familiar with the methods and techniques for successful survival during an offshore emergency. At the end of the session the participants would have an understanding and the knowledge in survival and escape from a ditched helicopter, familiar with life saving appliances and demonstrate the correct techniques of helicopter egress in water which includes:
· Helicopter underwater escape training
· Stepping off into the water
· Use of scramble nets
· Survival and chain swimming
· Launching & boarding liferafts
