Terengganu Safety Training Centre (TSTC) is the realisation of a vision by the State Government of Terengganu to create ‘ A State of The Art ‘ fully integrated Safety Training Centre. Since its’ inception in 1994, TSTC has moved forward and continues to be the leading safety training centre in this part of the region, and has diversified from providing not only oil and gas related safety training, to survival and skills training for the government police - fire department - navy - and soft skills training to a large spectrum of clients.
The strength of our operations lies in a Committed Management Team - a team of experienced Instructors - and dedicated Administration staff, reporting to a Board appointed by the State Government, and chaired by a prominent leader in the State. Our extensive training facilities are located on a 10 acre site adjacent to the Terengganu Advanced Technical Institute (TATI), and conveniently situated between Kerteh and Kemaman in East Peninsular Malaysia. The high standard of our purpose built facilities reflect our position as the leading training centre, and comprise – Administration block - Registration area – Well Equipped Classrooms – Extensive Fire Ground – Large Training Pool –– Cafeteria for breaks and lunch – First Aid Room - and Surau. Our Jetty Briefing Area and Survival Craft Jetty facility for survival craft training along the Kemaman river is one of a kind in Malaysia, and specially designed to meet our specific requirements. Also our close proximity to the sea enables us to provide realistic sea survival training in the open sea.
